|| 🥪 What’s a good sandwich that you’ve had lately? || . This is a chicken #割包 / #guaBao—well, a partially disassembled one, as i’d heated it up in the toaster oven the next day. Some ppl refer to it as a #TaiwaneseHamburger or Chinese hamburger; according to wikipedia (citing an UK good article), its initial origin was the in the city of Fuzhou in Fujian, China, rather than from the island nation of Taiwan. Nevertheless, its popularity in the Western hemisphere is apparently more commonly associated with Taiwanese cuisine nowadays. . “The food is known colloquially in parts of Taiwan as hó͘-kā-ti (虎咬豬; 'tiger bites pig') in Taiwanese Hokkien due to the mouth-like form of the bun and the contents of the filling.” (quoted from wiki) . || ✏️ #drawingChallenge (to those that i tagged who like to draw!): Draw a #Mario character WITHOUT using an image reference. 🍄|| (so this is actually also a memory challenge, too, ‘cause any artist worth their salt&pepper knows that using reference is important~) . . . #inktober #ballPointDrawing (😅 maybe? i should prolly actually look at one of the online lists again...) So...i figured i’d give it a try; my hand drawing skills are fairly rusty, n i didn’t want to use a pencil, so the lines are pretty messy. I’m used to most of my finished work being in digital format, as y’all might have noticed. 😛 (#sharpie marker to the rescue to hide some mistakes!) . To be transparent, i DID google some Doctor Mario images maybe a hour prior (n prolly saw an image or 3 of one of the SMASH Bros. iterations of Mario w/ his Cape move), but i did not reference any images WHILE drawing. Also, i was kinda trying for the Paper Mario ver. w/ his more “Steamboat Willie Mickey”-style eyes...but, because i got the head proportions wrong, i think he ended up looking a bit more like lil’ bro #Luigi...?
